Board members present: Betty Smith, Travis Flies, Jan Hankey, Cindy Rademacher, Kathy Knapp, Jennifer Turek, Jamie Legates, Mardi Anderson

Kathy called the meeting to order.

Membership – no report

Treasurer’s Report – The beginning balance was $949.83. After expenses of $50.83 we had an ending balance of $ 899.00

Newsletter – The August issue will include a reminder about membership renewals, the Fall Classic schedule and any exhibition games scheduled, something about USHL drafts to the NHL, and a request for questions members would like to hear the players address at the Meet ‘n Greet..

Webpage – Ed Anderson reported that a page theme has been designed and that the Storm’s Fall Classic schedule and parent pages are up.

Bylaws Change – A proposal had been made last month to remove the word Chasers from the by-laws, which would result in changing the organization’s name by removing the word “Chasers” there also. After some discussion a motion was made by Jamie, seconded by Ed, to take the word “Chasers” out of the bylaws. The motion carried.

Miscellaneous – Possible dates for activities
a. Pumpkin Raffle – trying for Oct. 17 or 18
b. Bowl with the Storm – Trying for Nov. 16
c. Holiday Party – Trying for Sunday afternoon Dec. 14. Evening Dec. 7 second choice
d. Appreciation Banquet – Trying for Sunday afternoon Apr. 5
